Grenen |
Today my parents, Tania, Fatou and I were on our trip to Skagen.
Skagen is he northernmost place in Denmark almost 110km northeast of Aalborg. Grenen - a long sandbank in the North of Skagen - is the junction point of the "Skagerrak" (Northsea) and the "Kattegat" (Baltic sea).
It is also considered to be one of the best places to observe different sea animals. Today we e.g. saw two seals (a dead one lying on the beach and another one swimming in the water) and a starfish.
The places we've been to today were amazing (It's so hard to find words to describe the nature here, you just have to see it yourself) although walking through the dunes was a very "sandy experience". When we were on top of the dune the wind blew sand into our eyes all over again so we couldn't really enjoy the sight. (The picture of me might also give you an impression of how windy it was.)
But anyways, we had a lot of fun today and ended our trip with pizza, salat, calzone and some wine in a pizzeria in Løgstør.
