WE MOVE!

In december we were told that we have to move out of our (beautiful and very big) apartment downtown and move into the school that we work in due to the financial situation of our project. So after we noticed that it is impossible to find other options e.g. a smaller apartment or host families we had no choice but to move up into the project.

Since we are now living together with the students we hope that they will quickly learn to leave us on our own during our freetime.

But the three of us still have a room each, share the kitchen and a living room. So we have some space for us that the students are not allowed to enter.

Icecold

This week it was snowing even more. So today right after work I went for a walk through the forest towards the sea. It is amazing to see all the landscape covered by snow. Again it was so strange to see all the snow all over the whole beach. The Fjord is frozen as well. Everything is sparkling as if the sun is playing with the snow. The ice is reflecting the light a thousand times and wherever you look you will be dazzled.

Back to Denmark

After two amazing weeks in Germany Samuel and me packed our things and flew to Denmark. We spent the whole week together in Nordjylland. We've had a great time going for long walks along the Fjord in Løgstør, which was completely frozen as you can see on the pictures below. It might also give you a picture of how cold it is up here. I always thought salt-water could not be frozen. And it is kind of weird to see the beach covered by snow since I'm only used to be at the beach in summer. On some days we made day trips to Aalborg, Århus and Mariager. When we were in Århus the weather was so bad that we couldn't see the sea although we were standing right in front of it. So we decided to visit the Art museum which is kind of famous here. In Mariager we had lunch at the waterfront and went for a walk. In the evenings we were cooking together, relaxing and watching movies or "Tatort". We fully enjoyed spending some more time together before Samuel finally flew back to Germany today.
