Guldpiger
I've just had such an insanely blessed day! These girls are definitely my favourite Danes ha ha! Since I have been visiting them at least every second week for a lot of months now I thought it was time to invite them to Løgstør. (We live like one hour from each other by car). So we were having some selfmade cake and of course - coffee, went for a walk along the beach, hung out in the garden, made and ate dinner together, worshipped around the bonfire and enjoyed a beautiful day together. I seriously can't describe what those girls mean to me, how they have influenced my experience of Denmark and how they have been changing my life here. I have been trying to find the right words for an hour now, but I guess this is the kind of blessing that just leaves you speechless. I am soooooooo deeply grateful that I got to know each one of them. Every minute we've spend together sharing our lives and faith has been such an inspiring, bracing and salutary time.

Study trip
I have been spending the last week in Copenhagen together with the students I work with at the moment. Their class is calles "society and media class" and we have been talking about topics like the Second Worldwar, prejudices, refugee crisis and much more. I have also been creating our own blog with them.
According to some of the topics we were visiting memorial places, the Royal theatre, DR Byen, Folketinget, a famous tower in Copenhagen and a lot more. We have been living in an airbnb which was really great in order to spend some quality time with the students in the evenings. It has been a great week but after two weeks of travelling it has been good to come home as well. Now I'm just enjoying the quietness in the school since all of the students went home for the weekend.
P.S. Only one week left until I see my family again!! AAHHHH!

Summer in sight!
As you can see, it seems like the summer has finally arrived. I know that we've probably just been very very lucky with the weather this weekend, but let's just pretend it's going to stay like this. I can't stop to hang out at the beach, enjoying that I live like 200 meters away from the Fjord. I just want more of it. More sunshine, more of those sunny days, more heat, more time at the beach, more of this soft kinda wind, more of the sea, more cold drinks, more summer food, more strawberries (can't wait for the day that I discover they finally sell Danish/ German strawberries!), more days with less clothes on, more warm nights, more iced coffee, more, more, more....

Vilnius
Vilnius - Lithuania's capital - is such a beautiful city! It has about half a million inhabitants which is still quite a lot in relation to Lithuania's population. We stayed at a hostel in the city centre, where we shared a room with more or less seven other people each night. We took part in a guided tour through the city, went for a walk at night, tasted some more traditional food, spend time shopping and discovering the city and its' surroundings. If you're a volunteer in Denmark Lithuania seems like a paradise since everything (at least food and drinks) are so cheap, so you can actually enjoy spending some money. The dangerous thing about it: You spend a looooot of money, because you stop counting! Anyway, we've definitely had a great week! Today it's time to go back to Kaunas from where we will take our flight at 6a.m. tomorrow morning. So somehow we're already back on our way to Copenhagen. Denmark here we come!
